INAUGURAL RIDE FOR RESILIENCE 2019
Fundraising for Active Farmers
The Ride for Resilience event was a major fundraiser for Active Farmers charity.
The organisation provides fitness classes, mental health services and health workshops in farming communities and aims to foster social interaction, build community connections and resilience.
We currently have a network of over 38 communities, run by 27 personal trainers that extends through almost every state of Australia and we continue to expand and grow each year.
We need help to achieve that, and in 2019 we asked riders to raise $1,500 each to donate towards the costs of running the fitness classes and growing the network.
Active Farmers is a registered Not For Profit (NFP) health promotion charity with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status
