A good red wine gets better with age...and so does Dawn Davidson!

Active Farmers personal trainer Sardie Edgar from Wando Vale in Victoria will never turn someone away based on age, in fact she encourages them to attend! Dawn Davidson is testament to that at the spritely young age of 82! Here is what Dawn had to say about her experiences with Sardie and Active Farmers:

Q: When did you start going to Active Farmers in Wando Vale and how did you hear about it?

A: June 2019 - I am involved with the Wando Vale Hall so I knew about Active Farmers when it was decided on.

Q: What do you enjoy most about going to Active Farmers?

A: Love the exercises and the way Sardie can make them different with a change of routine each night. Also being able to drive only 2km to the Hall to Active Farmers.

Q: Is it true you participated in all the LIVE Facebook classes Sardie did during lockdown?

A: Yes I did 12 Facebook classes!

Q: If someone is thinking about coming to class but is a bit hesitant, what would you say to them?

A: Organise your evening meal early so you can participate. Exercise at your own level on Tuesday night with instructor Sardie!

Q: Any other comments?

A: I have always wanted to be able to run, but that was becoming difficult, then came along Active Farmers at Wando Vale with Sardie. Each warm up includes running in the Hall. During winters it was running in the Hall, warm evenings we exercise outside, now becoming more confident. Now I can run to the cricket pitch and back! Thank you Sardie. Thank you Active Farmers!

Thank you Dawn for sharing your experience with us! You are an inspiration!
