Super easy healthy treats!!!

These bliss balls are the perfect replacement for chocolate! They've got protein, fibre and healthy fats to help keep you full - a great choice for an afternoon pick-me-up or an after dinner sweet treat with a cup of tea.. the hard part is keeping your portion size to one or two.  You can make a batch in advance and they'll keep for longer stored in the freezer. One of the ingredients is chia seeds - power packed seeds bursting with omega 3 fats (good for heart health), fibre and protein, and high in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants .

Recipe:

Blend all together;

  • 15 pitted dates

  • 50g chia seeds

  • 1tsp cinnamon

  • 70g almonds

  • 60g macadamias

  • 3-4 tbs of shredded coconut

  • 1tbs cacao

  • 1tbs salt raw peanut butter

  • 1-2 tsp melted coconut oil

  • 1-3 drops of peppermint oil

The roll the mixture into small balls and store in the freezer (makes for extra chewiness and helps prevent 10 consumed at once)!
