The Active Farmers Games & Colour Run in Albany, WA, was an obstacle race like no other! Set amidst the stunning Torbay landscape on private property, participants tackled a challenging 1.3km course with over 35 obstacles, all designed to put strength, agility, and teamwork to the test.
Active Farmers Games
The Games event kicked off from 8:45am with teams of 2 or 3 competing in team based obstacle challenges. The competition included Male, Female, and Mixed team categories, and it was open to participants 13 years and older. Prizes were awarded for the fastest lap, best-dressed team, and the Sumitomo Chemical AgroSolution Division Spirit Award, recognizing the team with the most energy and enthusiasm!
Colour Run
The Colour Run from 10:45am to 11:45am brought families together for a fun run around the obstacle course, complete with a splash of color! Kids aged 6 and under could join in as long as they had a parent by their side, making it a joyful experience for all ages.
Splash Zone
Running from 9:15am to 11:45am, the Splash Zone added even more fun with gel spray and plenty of laughs for kids and adults alike. Parental supervision ensured everyone enjoyed the day safely.
Each registration included a free T-shirt, mini-golf, bubbles, music, and a delicious sausage sizzle. A coffee van was also on-site, offering plenty of refreshments to keep spirits high throughout the day. For those who wanted to relax after the race, the AFL Grand Final screening area was set up for picnics and post-race fun.
