The inaugural ‘Run for Resilience’ is designed to provide a challenging, fun and family friendly event to look forward to in Spring. In a world where it's hard to find the time and motivation to keep active, an event like this can provide the inspiration required, especially over winter and in isolation.
We know there are significant benefits to both physical and mental health when we are physically fit and have a challenge to work towards. The event will also provide the community with an opportunity to get together, have some fun and enjoy the community connection.
There will be something for everyone, with several routes to run and walk, kids activities and a delicious brunch.
The routes will start at the Mangoplah Footy Ground, then head cross country through some local farms and back to finish at the Footy Ground.
It is important to note that this event will be postponed if the current social isolation restrictions have not been lifted.
ROUTES:
5km* - suitable for runners**, walkers, kids and it will be pram friendly!
10km* - suitable for runners** and walkers
Half marathon (21km)* - suitable for runners only**
* distances may vary to the above and will be confirmed prior to the day
** all runners will be timed
